
Dr. Denise Vaughn, a higher education administrator with a Doctoral degree in Workforce Education Training and Development from Southern Illinois University, is passionate about inspiring and enlightening others. She holds a Bachelor’s in Psychology and a Master’s in Counseling from Alabama State University, where she graduated summa cum laude and received the Presidential Award.
Dr. Vaughn is highly involved in her community, serving as a Legacy member of Leadership Montgomery, a member of The Links, Incorporated, and Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., among other organizations. She also contributes to the District Attorney’s Advisory Commission on Persecution Pre-Trial Program. A devout Catholic , Dr. Vaughn is the daughter of two esteemed educators and has dedicated herself to honoring their legacies.
Her greatest accomplishment is returning home to care for her father and serve her alma mater as the Director of Academic Labs and First & Second Year Experience at ASU.
